Powers is pleased to announce that fifteen of the firm’s attorneys across four practice areas have been recognized in The Best Lawyers® in America 2024. Twelve attorneys were recognized in Best Lawyers, and three were recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch®. Principal Sherry Gray was selected as the “Lawyer of the Year” for education law in the Washington, D.C. region for the second time. She has been recognized in the Education Law practice for the tenth year in a row. The firm’s Healthcare practice has six attorneys recognized, including Principals Mark R. Fitzgerald, James M. Jorling, Robert M. Portman, William H. von Oehsen III, Peter Thomas and Barbara Straub Williams. Barbara has been recognized for six years. James and Robert are recognized for the third year in a row for their accomplishments. Best Lawyers has recognized Paul and Kevin for twelve years and Brian for ten years. Senior Counsel Robert J. Saner II and Counsel D. Benson Tesdahl are recognized in non-profit/charities law.
