Powers is pleased to announce that ten of the firm’s attorneys across three practice areas have been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America© 2020.

Principals Stan Freeman and Sherry Gray were recognized in the Education Law section of Best Lawyers. Stan has been recognized each year since 2009, and Sherry has been recognized for six years. This year, Sherry is also a “Lawyer of the Year” for Education law, meaning she was given the highest overall peer feedback for education law within the Washington, D.C. region.

Principals Mark Fitzgerald, Diane Millman, Barbara Straub Williams, and Ron Connelly and Senior Counsel Jim Pyles were recognized in the Healthcare Law section. Mark has been recognized since 2012, Diane since 2003, Barbara and Jim for the past two years, and Ron is recognized for the first time this year.

Principals Brian Gunn, Paul Moorehead and Kevin Wadzinski were recognized in the Native American Law section. Best Lawyers has recognized each attorney for six years.
