Teleconference: Landmark Medicare Settlement Improves Coverage Of Services To Maintain Function, November 5

By November 2, 2012No Comments

On Monday, Powers Pyles Sutter & Verville Principal Peter Thomas is moderating a discussion on the landmark Medicare settlement announced earlier this month with Judith Stein, Executive Director of Center for Medicare Advocacy and CMA Director of Litigation Gill Deford. The call, sponsored by AAPMR and in partnership with the Coalition to Preserve Rehabilitation, will provide a free opportunity to learn more about this landmark settlement and ask questions of leaders at the Center for Medicare Advocacy, who is a plaintiff in the case.

Advocates for Medicare beneficiaries have been arguing for years that therapy and related services are just as important to maintain or prevent deterioration of function as they are to improve function. The Jimmo v. Sebelius settlement finally makes this clear.

Please mark your calendars for the November 5 teleconference.  No RSVP required
