Powers Principal Bobby Silverstein will serve as a featured speaker in U.S. Department of Labor’s upcoming virtual celebration of the 75th annual National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) and the 30th anniversary of the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

The event, titled “Building a Future that Works” will explore the crucial role of accessible technology in relation to this year’s NDEAM theme of “Increasing Access and Opportunity” for people with disabilities, and the Labor Department’s work to ensure that emerging technologies are accessible to all in the workplace. Other featured speakers include Secretary of Labor Eugene Scalia, Author Cathy Hackl, Internet pioneer Vint Cerf, and more.

The celebration will take place on Tuesday, October 20th from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Click here to register.
