Powers Principal Bryan Newland will present at the Sovereignty Symposium, hosted by Oklahoma City University School of Law and Oklahoma City University.
During his June 15 session, “From Consultation to Collaboration: Intergovernmental Leadership in Indian Country,” Bryan will explore the evolving relationships between Tribal, federal, state, and local governments and the importance of meaningful collaboration in advancing Tribal priorities. The discussion will examine strategies for strengthening government-to-government partnerships, overcoming common challenges, and fostering cooperative approaches that support Tribal sovereignty, self-determination, and community development.
