Powers Pyles Sutter & Verville is pleased to welcome our 2026 Summer Associates, Aiden Wechsler and Saron Setotaw. Aiden will spend his summer supporting the Firm’s Education Practice Group and Saron will spend her summer supporting the Firm’s Healthcare Practice Group.

Aiden Wechsler is a J.D. candidate at The George Washington University Law School, where he has distinguished himself academically and through his involvement in advocacy, negotiation, and government-related legal studies. He serves on GW’s ADR Board, participates in the Government Contracts Student Association, and was part of the team that earned Overall Best Team honors in the Schenck National Security Crisis Negotiations Competition.

Aiden brings a strong background in public policy, government, and regulatory work through experiences with the University of Maryland Office of General Counsel, the Maryland State Senate, and the U.S. Department of Energy. His work has included legal research, regulatory analysis, policy development, and legislative support.

Saron Setotaw is a J.D. candidate at the University of Virginia School of Law, where she is actively involved in the Health Law Association, Education Rights Institute, Black Law Students Association, and pro bono service initiatives. She was also a semi-finalist in the 2025 Nelson Mandela International Negotiations Competition.

Saron brings meaningful experience in advocacy, legal support, research, and community service through her work with the Henrico County Attorney’s Office, Children’s Law Center, and other mission-driven organizations. Her interests span regulatory, litigation, and transactional practice areas, and she has a strong connection to the Washington, D.C. legal market.

The Powers summer associate program exposes law students to the firm’s practices throughout a 10-week period. The program provides summer associates with challenging work, practical training and the opportunity to work and socialize with many of our lawyers, professionals and staff.
