Description: To qualify for the 340B Program, all hospitals except for critical access hospitals must maintain a minimum Medicare disproportionate share hospital (DSH) percentage by treating a sufficient number of Medicaid inpatients. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that ten million individuals will lose Medicaid coverage by 2034. This session will feature experts on Medicare DSH requirements, along with hospitals that have implemented strategies to reach Medicaid patients, enroll eligible individuals, and other efforts to address this issue.
