Powers Counsel Steve Kuperberg presented this week on conducting internal investigations at George Washington University as part of the university’s Healthcare Corporate Compliance Graduate Certificate program.

The Healthcare Corporate Compliance Graduate Certificate program is designed for working professionals to learn healthcare statutes and regulations and gain tools and strategies for creating, implementing and maintaining effective corporate compliance programs.

Steve’s presentation was part of the program’s opening five-day in-classroom residency, which is followed by a six-month Online Distance Learning segment. In his presentation, he discussed different aspects of conducting internal investigations, including when and how to conduct investigations, as well as what information should be obtained.
