Powers concluded its 2020 summer associate program last week, bidding farewell to Olivia O’Hea, who worked in the firm’s education practice, and Filzah Iqbal, who worked in the firm’s healthcare practice.
Olivia will return to Georgetown University Law Center and Filzah will return to the University of Virginia School of Law for their third and final years of law school.
The Powers summer associate program is designed to expose law students to the firm’s practices throughout a 10-week period. While this year’s program took place virtually, it provided summer associates with challenging work, practical training and the opportunity to work and virtually socialize with many of our lawyers, professionals and staff.
Powers thanks Olivia and Filzah for their hard work this summer and wishes them well in their final year of law school!
