Powers Pyles Sutter & Verville principal Peter Thomas has been asked to testify Wednesday, May 21, before the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health on the issue of site-neutral payments under Medicare, particularly post-acute care. The hearing is titled “Keeping the Promise:  Site of Service Medicare Payment Reforms.”

Peter is testifying on behalf of the Coalition to Preserve Rehabilitation, a coalition of national consumer, clinician and membership organizations. CPR advocates for policies that ensure access to rehabilitative care so that individuals with disabilities, injuries or chronic conditions may regain and/or maintain their maximum level of independent function.
