Powers Law Principal Dan Brozovic appeared on EdUp Legal’s Making LegalEASY education podcast with Deborah Solmor to discuss the release of the U.S. Department of Education’s Gainful Employment (GE) and Financial Value Transparency regulations, which are set to take effect on July 1, 2024.  These new regulations will subject postsecondary educational programs to accountability metrics measuring graduates’ debt and earnings.  They also aim to introduce greater transparency regarding the costs and financial outcomes associated with undergraduate and graduate postsecondary programs in all sectors of higher education.

During the podcast episode, Dan delves into several key topics, including programs that will be affected by the new regulations, their impact on Title IV eligibility status, and actions institutions should take now in preparation for the July 2024 effective date.
