11:00 AM-12:00 PM | AI Meets OMIG: Building an Effective Compliance Program for AI Tools in Your Health Center

Presented by Dianne Pledgie

Description: Health centers are adopting AI tools – from ambient documentation to patient-facing chatbots – often faster than their compliance infrastructure can keep pace. This session will address how existing compliance program elements – like written policies, training, and auditing/monitoring – can help health centers to mitigate AI-related risks, but may also need to be revised for AI-specific risks. Attendees will leave with a practical checklist for assessing whether their current compliance program adequately captures AI-related risk, and the gaps likely to create compliance and legal risk.
