Passage of Living Donor Protection Act by U.S. Senate HELP Committee Aided by Powers
On February 26, 2026, the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (“HELP”) passed the Living Donor Protection Act of 2025, a bill removes workplace and insurance barriers to organ donation for more than 90,000 people who are currently awaiting a lifesaving kidney transplant.
