Delaney Bounds Wilson is an Associate Attorney in the Powers Pyles Sutter & Verville Healthcare and Legislative practice groups.

Delaney specializes in legislative and regulatory advocacy for patient and provider organizations on topics including the 340B drug pricing program, Medicare and Medicaid, long-term care, and clinical data registries.  She pairs deep legal expertise with clear, persuasive communication to help clients reach their advocacy goals.  Delaney is well-versed in translating policy ideas into detailed legislative language and compelling supporting messaging that equip clients to engage effectively with Congress and the Administration.  Prior to joining Powers, Delaney worked in government relations for the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and served as a Health Policy Fellow for the United States Senate Finance Committee.

During law school, she served as a Legal Intern with the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), where she worked on legal issues related to the rights of nursing facility residents and other elder law topics. She was also a Contributing Editor on the Iowa Law Review and President of the Iowa Student Health Law Association.

Prior to law school, Delaney earned her Master of Public Health from the University of Iowa’s College of Public Health.

Delaney worked as a summer associate in the firm in 2022.
