• Session 1 – Providing Gender Affirming Care as a Federal Grantee: Compliance and Board Engagement for Community Health Centers
  • Gender affirming care is often a core service integral to the mission of many community health centers, supporting the health and dignity of LGBTQ+ patients. This webinar will help federally funded health centers understand how to provide these essential services while complying with federal grant requirements, state laws, and organizational governance standards. Participants will learn how to meet grant terms and navigate legal considerations, while engaging their boards in meaningful discussions about risk tolerance and decision-making to ensure strong oversight and program integrity.
• Session 2 – Serving Undocumented Immigrants at Community Health Centers: Ensuring Compliance and Board Engagement on Risk Management
  • Serving undocumented immigrants is often central to the mission of community health centers, which strive to provide equitable care regardless of immigration status. This webinar will guide federally funded centers through adhering to federal grant terms, navigating state laws, and fostering strong board engagement. Participants will learn how to balance legal requirements with compassionate care while actively involving their boards in discussions about risk tolerance and compliance decision-making to safeguard organizational integrity.
