Julie Hyams is a Non-Attorney Senior Legislative Advisor at Powers, focusing on healthcare. Julie is a Capitol Hill veteran, with extensive experience in federal appropriations advocacy, establishing advocacy campaigns, and in coalition management.

She is skilled at advancing legislative agendas through lobbying and grassroots activism, including the management of client congressional Hill day events.  Julie previously worked on Capitol Hill for an Appropriations Member and as a government relations advisor for state-based healthcare associations.

Julie is a graduate of Haverford College and received her Masters in Public Affairs from the LBJ School at the University of Texas/Austin.
