SUMMARY:Implementing the 340B Insulin/Epi-Pen EO in Your Health Center | Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Implementing the 340B Insulin / Epi-Pen Executive Order In Your Health Center\nOn April 15\, 2025\, President Trump issued an Executive Order addressing issues relating to high drug prices. One section of the Executive Order requires Section 330(e) grantees to make insulin and injectable epinephrine (“Epi-Pens”) available at or below the 340B price to low-income individuals with a high cost-sharing requirements\, high unmet deductible\, or no healthcare insurance. Though guidance on implementing the Executive Order is scarce\, a similar order issued in the first Trump Administration provides significant clues as to how HHS will interpret the order. \nThis webinar discusses what we know and what we do not and discusses how health centers should aim to comply with the requirements. \nPresenters:\n\nJason Reddish\nJoella Roland\n\n\nREGISTER NOW

SUMMARY:Navigating Your Health Center's Scope of Project | Webinar Series
DESCRIPTION:Session 1:\nJuly 22 at 3:00 pm (EDT) \nSession 2:\nJuly 24 at 3:00 pm  (EDT) \nCamp Counselor: Carrie Riley\n\n\nWhat We Are Covering in Week 3:\n\nSessions 1 & 2 – Navigating Your Health Center’s Scope of Project\n\nBefore you hit the trails\, make sure your map is accurate! For community health centers\, Forms 5A\, 5B\, and 5C chart the course for your approved scope of project—defining your services\, sites\, and other key activities. Inaccurate or outdated forms can lead to serious consequences\, including grant conditions and denial of Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) coverage.\nThis two-part session will begin with a deep dive into Form 5A\, including how to add or remove services and avoid common pitfalls in change-in-scope requests. We’ll also review a practical checklist of required elements for Column II contracts and Column III referral arrangements. Next\, we’ll explore Form 5B\, focusing on what qualifies as a “service site” and walking through best practices—and frequent missteps—when adding or removing sites\, illustrated by real-world examples. Finally\, we’ll unpack Form 5C\, clarifying when it should (and should not) be used. Get ready to build your scope-savvy survival skills and keep your health center on the right path.\n\n\n\n\nREGISTER NOW\n\nEach Compliance Summer Camp session will be recorded and available on demand. SUMMARY:Governance and Health Center Board | Webinar Series
DESCRIPTION:Session 1:\nJuly 29 at 1:00 pm (EDT) \nSession 2:\nJuly 31 at 1:00 pm  (EDT) \nCamp Counselors: Carrie Riley & Dianne Pledgie\n\n\nWhat We Are Covering in Week 4:\n\nSession 1 – Supporting a Strong and Compliant Health Center Board: Part 1\n\nIn Part 1\, we’ll explore the board’s essential role in overseeing the health center’s compliance program. HRSA’s Health Center Program requirements state that the board is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws. But what does this look like in practice? We’ll break it down and draw from HHS Office of Inspector General (OIG) guidance to outline how boards can help lead a culture of compliance. Attendees will receive a list of key questions board members should ask (and that health center staff should be prepared to answer!)\, ideas for integrating compliance into regular board engagement\, and strategies for getting—and keeping—compliance on the board’s radar.\n\n\nSession 2 – Supporting a Strong and Compliant Health Center Board: Part 2\n\nFrom board composition and authorities to navigating “rogue” board behavior and enhancing engagement\, Part 2 will provide the tools and insights management needs to guide and sustain an effective\, compliant board. Attendees will also receive a bylaws review checklist and a list of questions that can be reviewed and discussed by the board to prepare for their Operational Site Visit interview. Whether you’re new to governance or looking for a summer tune-up\, this session will help you and your board stay on the right trail.\n\n\n\n\nREGISTER NOW\n\nEach Compliance Summer Camp session will be recorded and available on demand.
